LabelMojo
Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy explains how Firelinkx handles personal information for LabelMojo: on labelmojo.com, through the demo request form, on the demo portal at demo.labelmojo.com, and inside the LabelMojo service that label printing companies subscribe to.
1. Who we are
LabelMojo is a software product of Firelinkx. The Firelinkx entity responsible for your information depends on where you are:
- Firelinkx, a business registered in Guyana since 2019 and based in Georgetown, for visitors and customers in Guyana.
- Firelinkx Inc., a Delaware corporation formed in 2022, for visitors and customers outside Guyana.
In this policy, “Firelinkx”, “we” and “us” mean the responsible entity. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers four places where we handle personal information:
- the website at labelmojo.com
- the demo request form at labelmojo.com/demo
- the demo portal at demo.labelmojo.com
- the LabelMojo service: the deployments that printers subscribe to
For the website, the demo request form, the demo portal, and the business contact and billing details of printers who subscribe, Firelinkx decides how information is used. We are the controller of that information.
Inside a printer’s LabelMojo deployment, the roles are different. The printer is our customer: it decides what information goes into its deployment and how that information is used, so the printer is the controller. Firelinkx acts as the printer’s processor (called a service provider under some US state privacy laws). We handle that information only to provide the service, following the printer’s instructions under its subscription agreement. Section 6 explains this in more detail. The printer’s own privacy notice applies to its customers.
3. Visiting the website
The website does not use analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking tools, and the website itself sets no cookies.
Labelmojo.com runs on a virtual server operated by our hosting provider and is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it needs to check traffic.
Our web server records each request: the IP address passed on by Cloudflare, your browser’s user agent, the page requested and the time. We use these logs to keep the site secure and to investigate problems.
4. Demo requests
When you ask for a walkthrough on the demo request form, we collect:
- your name, company, email address and country
- the plan or service you are interested in (Starter, Pro, Help me choose or Custom work)
- the message you write
The form sends your request by email to [email protected] and sends you a confirmation email. Both emails are delivered by Resend, our email delivery provider in the United States. If online sending is unavailable, the form prepares the email in your own mail app instead, and your email provider delivers it.
We use your request to reply to you, arrange and hold the walkthrough, prepare a quote if you ask for one, and keep a record of our conversation. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list, and we do not give your request to other companies for their own use.
5. The demo portal
The demo portal contains fictional sample data only. You sign in with shared demo accounts, so we do not ask who you are.
The demo portal keeps the same records as a live deployment: sign-ins, actions taken, and the account, time, browser and IP address on proof approvals. We use these records to run and secure the demo.
Do not enter real personal information, customer data or confidential artwork in the demo portal. Other visitors using the shared demo accounts can see what you enter, and the sample data is reset from time to time.
6. Information in a printer’s LabelMojo deployment
Each printer runs its own LabelMojo deployment, with its own database and file storage. The printer decides what goes in. A deployment typically holds:
- staff accounts for the printer’s team
- contact details of the printer’s customers and their portal users
- quotes, artwork files and proofs
- approval records, including the approver’s name, the time, browser and IP address
- jobs, invoices and payment records (LabelMojo does not store card numbers; if a printer enables online card payment, the payment provider handles card details)
- delivery records with the recipient’s signature
- email notifications sent to the printer’s customers
For this information the printer is the controller and Firelinkx is its processor. We use it only to provide the service to the printer: hosting, setup, support, maintenance, backups and security. We do not use it for our own purposes. Firelinkx staff access it only to provide setup, support and maintenance, or when the law requires it.
LabelMojo can flag customer accounts for the printer’s staff to follow up, for example when a reorder is later than usual. These flags are for people at the printer to review. LabelMojo makes no decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects.
If you are a customer of a printer that uses LabelMojo, read that printer’s privacy notice and contact the printer about your information. Section 13 explains how requests that reach us are handled.
7. Printers who subscribe
When a printer subscribes, we keep the names and business contact details of its representatives, the agreement, quotes, invoices, payment records and our correspondence. We are the controller of this information and use it to manage the agreement, bill for the service, provide support and meet our legal obligations.
8. Legal bases for using information
Where the law requires a legal basis for using personal information, including the Guyana Data Protection Act 2023, the GDPR and the UK GDPR, we rely on the following:
- Replying to demo requests and preparing quotes: steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- Providing the LabelMojo service and managing subscriptions: performance of our contract with the printer.
- Server logs, demo portal records and security: our legitimate interest in keeping our systems secure and working.
- Accounting, tax and other legal requirements: compliance with our legal obligations.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights, and you can object as described in section 13. For information in a printer’s deployment, the printer determines the legal basis.
9. Service providers
We share personal information only with providers that help us run LabelMojo, and only as much as each one needs:
- Hosting: the provider that operates the virtual server for labelmojo.com and the demo portal, and the cloud hosting, database and file storage infrastructure for printer deployments.
- Cloudflare: content delivery and security for our websites and deployments.
- Resend: delivery of demo request emails, confirmations and email notifications sent from LabelMojo deployments.
- Payment providers: only where a printer enables online card payment, for that printer’s payments.
The providers used for a printer’s deployment are listed in its agreement or given on request. We may also disclose information to professional advisers bound by confidentiality, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of others. If Firelinkx or LabelMojo is sold or reorganised, information may pass to the new owner, who must continue to protect it as this policy describes.
10. International transfers
Firelinkx is based in Guyana and contracts outside Guyana through a US company, and our providers operate in the United States and other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live. Where the law requires safeguards for these transfers, for example under the Guyana Data Protection Act 2023, the GDPR or the UK GDPR, we put them in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.
11. How long we keep information
- Web server logs: up to 90 days.
- Demo portal activity records: up to 90 days.
- Demo requests and related correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a customer, they become part of your customer records.
- Subscribing printers’ agreements, invoices and payment records: for the length of the subscription and up to 7 years after it ends, for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
- Information in a printer’s deployment: as set out in the printer’s agreement. After service ends, the printer can request an export within 30 days. The data is then deleted as the agreement states, and backup copies are removed as backups expire under the schedule in the agreement.
We may keep information longer where the law requires it or to deal with a legal claim.
12. How we protect information
We protect personal information with measures suited to what LabelMojo holds, including:
- a separate deployment for each printer, with its own database and file storage
- encrypted connections (HTTPS) to the website, the demo portal and every deployment
- access to customer data limited to Firelinkx staff who need it for setup, support or maintenance
- regular backups
No system is completely secure. If a security incident affects personal information we hold, we notify the affected printers, and individuals and authorities where the law requires it.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- have your information deleted
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- receive your information in a portable format
- withdraw consent where we rely on consent
To use these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply within 30 days, and tell you if we need longer where the law allows it. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
If your information is in a printer’s LabelMojo deployment, for example because you approved a proof in its portal, contact that printer first. The printer controls that information and decides how to respond. If you contact us instead, we pass your request to the printer and help it respond.
You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or in Guyana to the authority responsible under the Data Protection Act 2023.
14. No sale of personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in US state privacy laws.
15. Children
LabelMojo is a business service for label printing companies and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
16. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change, and the date at the top of the page shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle information in printer deployments, we tell subscribing printers by email before it takes effect.
17. Contact
Email [email protected] with privacy questions or requests, and tell us whether your question concerns the website, a demo request, the demo portal or a printer’s deployment.
